St. Francis Lodge No. 817

Motto: 'Bless thou me in every partaking

but seek out my mysteries.'

Special work: The special object of the Lodge shall be to serve the Head of all True Freemasons throughout the world, in the expectation of the revival of the Mysteries.

Location: The Temple, Tekels Park, Camberley, Surrey, GU15 2LF.
A good bearing to start from is Camberley railway station on Pembroke Broadway. Go to the left of the front entrance and cross over the rail line up Heathcote road. Turn right at the mini roundabout into Park Road. After 275m (300yds) turn left into Tekels Park Avenue. Follow this road until you reach Tekels Park. Enter and turn first right at the walled garden. Follow the road around the walled garden. The Temple (and St. Francis’ Church) is at the opposite corner of the walled garden.

Meetings: Meetings are on the third Saturday of the month, eight times per year, at 2:30pm.

Ethos: St. Francis Lodge is situated in a tranquil and beautiful location in Camberley, a setting that promotes the work of the lodge.

The particular ethos of the lodge is:

To promote personal and spiritual growth through Brotherhood, service and study.

To search for a deeper meaning to life and how best to live it.

To seek a greater understanding of the inner mysteries through the performance of Masonic rituals and the study of their symbolism.

To promote grace and elegance of movement through participation in ceremonial work.
