Motto: 'I seek the light'

Special work: To perpetuate the principles of Plato in the equality of men and women and the search for the Good in all aspects of life.

Location: The Lodge meets at Moortop in New Farnley near Leeds. The village is on the A58 and there is a regular bus service from Leeds city centre.

Meetings: The Lodge meets eight times a year on the first Saturday afternoon in: March, April, May, June, September, October, November and December.

History: The lodge was consecrated on 16th May 1908 and held its special celebration for its Diamond Jubilee on Saturday 4th May 1968. A report of this celebration described the 60 years as a journey by men and women of vision who had the urge to create and evolve into a living temple of humanity. Plato Lodge celebrated its centenary in 2008. For anyone seeking knowledge and wisdom – a warm welcome awaits you at Lodge Plato.
