History: The Lodge was consecrated The V:. Ills:. Bro:. Arnold S. Banks 33° in Bushey, Hertforshire on Saturday 28 February 1920. The first R.W.M. was Bro:. Estella Hymans.
In 2009 a number of brethren wished to consecrate a Lodge meeting in London, as it was felt desirable to provide a meeting point for brethren living or working in central London, and for the Federation to have a Lodge meeting in the heart of the capital. A decision was taken to revive Morning Star.
The original Charter, along with much of the furniture and regalia, was retrieved from storage, and the re-Consecration accordingly took place at the headquarters of The Theosophical Society at 50 Gloucester Place, on Wednesday 17 March 2010.
The reconsecration was done by The V:. Ills:. Bro:. Brian Roberts 33°, M.P.G.C. of the British Federation, and the event provoked a great deal of interest, with visitors from many other orients and other obediences.
