The National Convention 2026

The National Convention is an important event in the Masonic Calendar. It is your opportunity to see and be involved in how the Order functions administratively. Each year, the Federation Treasurer delivers the annual accounts of the British Federation. There is also an update from the President, the Almoner and other keys roles regarding the previous year. It is also the forum where changes to our General Regulations are discussed and ratified.

Some topics of interest are included and this year we have three presentations, ‘Merchants and Masons of the Tower of London’, ‘Healing-an Introduction’, and ‘Rural Folklore’. Lunch and light refreshments are included.

Friends and partners are welcome to attend late afternoon once the Lodge is closed to join us for the final presentation on Folklore, a drinks reception and a four course meal. The total cost is £26 per head. The meal and drinks reception is not compulsory; members may attend the Convention only in which case there is no charge. However, we hope that many of you will attend the meal to end the day together.

Please note that the National Council, the administrative side to the Federation, is not a separate entity to our Freemasonry. It is the structure that enables us all to perform our Great Work, ever remembering the importance of the Scribe

Thoth, and his Hellenistic counterpart Hermes Trismegistus, was far more than a mere record-keeper. He was revered as the Divine Scribe, the patron of mortal initiates and the supreme recorder of hidden, universal mysteries.
